My Hometown
I grew up in Greensburg, Kentucky. Greensburg is a small town where it is easy to know those in your community, if you care to. Greensburg is rural with many farms and beautiful outdoor landscapes. Families here tend to focus on raising their children, attending church, and enjoying a variety of hobbies like hunting and fishing. It is an overall peaceful place to live. The downtown area is full of small, locally owned businesses. Greensburg's fall festival, Cow Days, is always a fun event for the community.
Future Plans
My major is Information Technology with a Cybersecurity emphasis. I have worked in banking compliance for the last 20 years. Upon graduation, I hope to expand my role in banking to include cybersecurity. I am looking forward to the opportunities this degree will bring.
Internet Relationship
The internet is a huge part of my life, both personally and professionally. I use the internet for research, shopping, social media, streaming television, attending classes for school and many other things. I think the most important thing about the internet is the connection it gives us. No matter where you are located, you have access to people, information, and even telehealth medical care. The internet brings the world to your laptop or phone. I spend hours online everyday, either for work or my personal use.
